Nestled on the scenic Potomac River in Alexandria, Virginia. The Dee Campbell Rowing Center stands proudly as the home of Titan Rowing. With its modern amenities and rich history. This boathouse has become a prominent fixture in the world of rowing since its inception in September 1986.

Advanced Facilities and Rich Heritage

Honoring the legacy of the esteemed coach De’Arcey “Dee” Campbell. The boathouse was officially named in June 2006. What sets this facility apart is not only its status as one of the finest rowing centers in the country. But also its unique ownership – it’s one of the rare facilities owned by a public high school.

The Dee Campbell Rowing Center boasts three expansive boat bays equipped with racks for doubles through eights. Dedicated flyspace for singles, oar racks, a workshop, and storage spaces for launches. The upper levels house a spacious training room overlooking the picturesque river, adorned with 50 Concept II indoor rowers (“ergs”). Weight training equipment, locker rooms, coaches’ offices. The Crew Closet, and additional storage rooms. A loft on the third level provides meeting space and an extra workout area.

The center’s dock infrastructure is equally impressive, featuring four piers at the apron, ramps leading to floating pier extensions, and the main floating dock for launching shells and sculls. In an effort to enhance functionality and reduce maintenance needs, the dock underwent expansion in August 2005. Notably, the wooden launch dock was replaced with a durable polyethylene modular system in August 2007, ensuring longevity and slip-resistant safety.
